Elementary Summer Academy (Grades 3-5)

Elementary Summer School is now full and we are no longer taking applications. 

Elementary Summer Academy
Enrichment Course Offerings Classes will be May 28-June 14
Time:  7:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

The deadline to enroll is 05/01//23

ALL students in grades 3-5 for the 2024-25 school year will attend Summer Academy at the Primary Building at 501 SE 16th St. this summer.  

Please refer to the list below when selecting your courses online for our Summer Academy. All students will be placed in their grade level course and they can choose 1 other enrichment class. 

  • Welcome to 3rd Grade:  All incoming 3rd-grade students will be enrolled in this class automatically and will choose 1 enrichment course.  
  • Welcome to 4th Grade:  All incoming 4th-grade students will be enrolled in this class automatically and will choose 1 enrichment course.  
  • Welcome to 5th Grade:  All incoming 5th-grade students will be enrolled in this class automatically and will choose 1 enrichment course.  

  • Enrichment Courses Available: 
    2024 Summer Games - Coach Steele
     Crafting and Community - Ms. White
    Greek Mythology - Ms. Lowe-Smith Outdoor Science Adventures - Mr. Bolyard

  • Parents need to complete the SS Elementary Application Form form by May 1 to give your child permission to attend.

  • Enrichment classes will have a class size limit and when classes are filled, we will remove them from the available list of classes offered.  We will contact you for an alternate class selection.

  • All outstanding fees (technology insurance and library book) must be paid before a summer school teacher will be assigned. Fees can be seen and paid on the Parent Portal.
